Six species of swan exist in the world and Cygnus atratus is distinct among them. Once believed imaginary, the black swan symbolizes transformation and achievement of the impossible.

We are thrilled to offer the Limited Select Signature Syrup series; our consequential line of sophisticated simple syrups is divided into two seasonal collections. We are intentional about developing intriguing profiles, and we take pride in our adventurous combinations that pique the senses.

My name is Shannon Gatewood
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about The Black Swan Company. Allow me to introduce myself.
I'm a bit of a culinary mad scientist - I love to experiment with food and beverages. The Signature Syrup that started it all, The Founder, came to be after a family member asked me to create a custom cocktail for a holiday gathering. The rest, as they say, is history.
My passion for bold flavors is rooted in my Caribbean-American heritage and travels; my desire to introduce The Black Swan Company to the world reflects my love of entertaining. While many competitors are branded and tailor their products specifically for cocktails, The Black Swan Company isn’t *just* a cocktail company. I want my customers to try something new, to be inspired to create a unique drink, dish, or dessert of their own.
